About Us

In Bracknell Forest a number of parties have come together by choice to create Bracknell Forest Partnership. This collaboration brings together agencies that deliver public services (the Councils, Police, Fire and Rescue Service, and Primary Care Trust) with businesses and people that represent voluntary organisations and the community.

Bracknell Forest Partnership has a single purpose; to improve quality of life for local people.

Joining forces gives many benefits. Working together reduces the chance of duplicating effort and such a diverse mix of people brings fresh, inventive solutions to local issues.

More than 50 individuals are directly involved in Bracknell Forest Partnership, either as part of one of the decision  making Boards, or shaping particular areas of work through one of the Theme Partnerships. And the number of people supporting and delivering Bracknell Forest Partnership’s work runs into thousands.

Bracknell Forest Partnership consists of senior representatives from the public, private, voluntary and community sectors. Members are recruited on the basis of their capacity to represent their organisations and not their individual interests.

Bracknell Forest Partnership consists of a number of bodies:

Bracknell Forest Partnership Board – The operational board of 8 senior representatives from the partner organisations who meet monthly.

Ten theme partnerships – These cover the main areas of work for the partnership and can be found on the structure diagram below.
